Safeway Workers Could Vote On Possible Strike As Early As Thursday

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- About 10,000 Safeway workers are one step closer to a possible strike that could impact your next trip to the grocery store.

This comes just weeks after the union advised workers to reject a new contract as they fight for better pay, healthcare and retirement benefits.

Now, after making no progress during negotiations, workers may vote on a possible strike Thursday.
