BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Former NAACP President and Congressman Kweisi Mfume received some big endorsements as he looks to fill the seat of late Congressman Elijah Cummings.

30 area religious leaders have endorsed Mfume, including Harold Carter Jr. from New Shiloh Baptist Church.

Mfume is competing against republican nominee Kimberly Klacik in the general election later this month.

Because of the coronavirus, there is limited in-person voting, but anyone who can vote by mail, should.

The Democrats want you to vote by mail. They want to cut your vote short and put Mfume in charge. Remember he was corrupt when he was in office before.
