AUSTIN, Tx. (WJZ) -- Ravens safety Earl Thomas was held at gunpoint by his wife after she allegedly caught him cheating with another woman, according to a Travis County Sheriff's Office affidavit.

According to the affidavit, police responded to an Austin area home at 3:41 a.m. after getting a call about "three women with guns."

When police arrived, they heard yelling from the back of the home. There, police saw a woman in an orange sweater, who they later identified as 30-year-old Nina Thomas, chasing a shirtless Earl Thomas around a vehicle. Nina was armed with a knife and Thomas had a gun in his hand at the time, according to police.

Officers drew their weapons and ordered Nina and Earl to the ground.

According to court documents, Nina Thomas said she and her 31-year-old husband got into a fight earlier in the over his excessive drinking. Following the argument, Earl Thomas left with his brother Seth.

Nina got suspicious and tried to figure out where Earl was. She logged into his Snapchat where she learned he was allegedly cheating on her with another woman. She told police she used Snapchat's location tool to find Earl, then she grabbed his 9mm pistol, her sister, and a friend and went to the Airbnb rental to confront them.

When they got to the home, Nina and the two other women entered through an unlocked back door and went upstairs, according to the police report. The women allegedly found "Earl and Seth naked in bed with other women."

That's when Nina admitted she pulled out the loaded gun, disengaged the safety and put it to Earl's head to "scare him."  She told police she didn't know it was loaded as she took out the magazine, however police later noted there was a round in the chamber.

Earl tried to wrestle the gun away from his wife as she struck him repeatedly, police said. According to a witness, Nina pointed the gun at the women staying with Earl and Seth and said, "I got something for all of you hoes!"

Cell phone video from Nina's sister captured the incident. Police reviewed the footage and it corroborated the story that Nina pointed a gun at Earl. Nina's sister told police she went with her to make sure nothing got "out of hand."

Nina was charged with burglary of a residence with the intent to commit aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, family violence according to the report. She was released on bond.

Thomas addressed the incident on his Instagram page on Wednesday night.

"So my agent just hit me and said that I'm going to be on TMZ tomorrow from an altercation that happened with me and Nina," Thomas said in the video. "Just wanted to get ahead of it. It's really not anybody's business."

"It pisses me off that it got out, but it's the world we live in today. But, instead of talking about us, just keep us in y'all prayers," Thomas continued. "Stuff like this happens bro. We try to live the best lives we possibly can. Sometimes it don't go as planned. Just pray for us as we go through this stuff. We've been talking. I've been seeing my kids. So just keep us in your prayers."

The Ravens have a zero-tolerance policy for their players when it comes to domestic violence since the now infamous Ray Rice incident. Earl Thomas, however, was not arrested.

The Ravens said they only learned of the incident through the media coverage.
