Crews Work To Fix Sinkhole On Route 136 In Harford County

BEL AIR, Md. (WJZ) -- A large sinkhole in Harford County caused Route 136 at Cool Spring Road to close Tuesday afternoon, according to Maryland State Police.

Police said the highway will be shut down indefinitely.

Crews are currently assessing the situation.

The road is closed between Cool Spring Road and Cool Branch roads in both directions.

No further information has been released at this time.
