ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) — Governor Larry Hogan remains one of the most popular governors in the United States, according to polls.

But Rolling Stone Magazine is taking it even further, calling him America’s most popular governor, period.

The magazine cited his early actions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Maryland.

Rolling Stone also credited him for not being afraid to voice his opinion when he disagrees with President Donald Trump.

A survey done by Morning consult earlier this year found Hogan was the second-most popular governor in the country despite a slight approval dip. That survey was done before the coronavirus pandemic broke out in the U.S.
