Annapolis Police Department Changing How Non-Violent Crimes Are Reported

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- The Annapolis Police Department is making some changes to how people report minor and non-violent crimes.

There's a new telephone reporting policy in place.

When you call to report a crime, it will be screened to see if it falls into a category that is appropriate for telephone reporting.

If it is, someone will take your information, and an officer will call you back to follow up.
