Y In Central Maryland Holding Produce Distribution Event Monday
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Y in Central Maryland is looking for volunteers to help with free fresh produce distribution events across the Baltimore area.
The organization has a number of events coming up that need volunteers, including distributing food in Baltimore City and central Maryland.
On Monday, the Y is holding a free produce box giveaway at the Y in Druid Hill beginning at 1 p.m.
Since April, the organization has given out 425,000 pounds of fresh produce to those in need.
