COLUMBIA, Md. (WJZ) — In the market for a new home? You may want to consider Columbia.
The community has been named the fifth-best place to live in the country by Money magazine.
The magazine looked at factors like employment opportunities, cost of living, schools and safety. Its proximity to Baltimore and Washington, D.C., also helped it rank near the top.
Four years ago, Columbia came in first in the rankings; this year, that spot was taken by Evans, Georgia, a suburb of Augusta.
