Fire Causes Over $200K Worth Of Damage To Wicomico County Home, Officials Say

WILLARDS, Md. (WJZ) -- The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating after a fire caused over $200,000 worth of damage to a home in Wicomico County.

The fire happened around 5:17 p.m. on Thursday in the 7770 block of New Hope Road in Willards, according to officials.

The blaze took firefighters about an hour to control.

Fortunately, no injures were reported.
