BALTIMORE (WJZ) — We all love a good home makeover, and as it turns out, so does the leopard at the Maryland Zoo.

She got to check out her newly renovated habitat for the first time.

The leopard’s name is Sofiya, and for more than seven months, the zoo has been working on a renovation to give her more rocks to climb on and a cave for lounging.

Behind the scenes, there’s also improved medical spaces.

Amur leopards are one of the rarest cat species in the world, the Maryland Zoo said.
