LUSBY, Md. (WJZ) — Three people were injured after jumping out of a second-story window when their home caught fire in Calvert County.

Calvert County firefighters responded to Saw Mill Road in Lusby and found flames coming from the home.

At one point, the second floor collapsed.

Firefighters say the victims were taken to the hospital for burns to their upper bodies and other injuries.

The cause is under investigation, but crews don’t believe it is suspicious.
