MDTA Asks Boaters To Slow Down In Potomac River Near Nice/Middleton Bridge Construction
NEWBURG, Md. (WJZ) -- Maryland Transportation Authority is asking boaters in the Potomac River to slow down near the Nice/Middleton Bridge.
MDTA officials say the bridge is under construction and boaters speeding through are creating large wakes that could be hazardous for workers.
They ask boaters to slow down, use extreme caution and steer clear of construction vessels.
