Screams Heard In Woods In Howard County Are From Foxes, Officials Say
HOWARD COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- A heads up for Howard County residents. Park rangers say they've received several calls about screaming coming from the woods.
If you've heard it, don't panic, it is just female foxes attracting mates during breeding season.
If you hear the sound frequently around your neighborhood this winter, rangers say to be on the lookout for young fox kits this coming spring.
