TOWSON, MD. (WJZ) — The murder of a Towson University student remains a mystery still to this day, 12 years after his death.

Daniel Coverston was shot in the back of the head on Valentine’s Day in 2009.

Police believe someone called him from a payphone, then came to his apartment and shot him. He was 22-years-old.

A $15,000 reward is being offered if any tips lead to a conviction.
