AAA Rescued More Than 6,800 Cars During Maryland Heat Wave

(WJZ) -- Well, we made it through our first heatwave of the season, but not without some problems. Mostly, it was centered around cars.

AAA said during the hot weather we had over the past week, crews responded to more than 6,800 Rescue calls in Maryland ranging from dead car batteries to flat tires.

AAA is now urging drivers to get their vehicles inspected, ahead of the first day of summer, which is June 20.
