Maryland State Fair Called Off Wednesday As Remnants Of Ida Hit Region

TIMONIUM, Md. (WJZ) -- With the remnants of Hurricane Ida making their way through the region, the Maryland State Fair is closed on Wednesday, Sept. 1, organizers announced.

The fair is scheduled to reopen on Thursday, Sept. 2 at noon.

Maryland is under a Flash Flood Watch from 11 a.m. Wednesday to 8 a.m. Thursday.
