Maryland Weather: A Bright And Breezy Tuesday

BALTIMORE (WJZ) --- A beautiful day today bright and breezy.

Plenty of sunshine, with temperatures topping out in the low 70s.

So we topped out at 70 on Monday. Today, we nudge past that making our way to 72.

And it will be breezy! Expect NE winds 10-20 mph.

On Tuesday night, temperatures are going to dip down into the mid 40s to right around 50 degrees.

Coastal flooding will be a factor through Thursday morning. While most of it is minor, some moderate tidal flooding is possible in Washington D.C. and St. Mary's County.

We keep the sunshine around for Wednesday and temperatures take another small step up, topping out in the mid-70s.
By Thursday, we get only glimpse the sun in the morning, with clouds taking over through the afternoon. Rain is possible well south of Baltimore in the afternoon.

Our Friday looks gray, with showers possible during the second half of the day.

So far, our best window for rain is Saturday in the afternoon and evening.

A few showers and even a thunderstorm remain a possibility into Sunday.

Weekend temperatures will be in the mid-to-upper-70s, so while we'll be rainy like last weekend, we won't have the chill to go along with it.
