Assault Suspect Tries To Steal Car While Fleeing Baltimore County Officers, Police Say
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A person suspected in an assault tried to steal a car as they fled police Friday afternoon in Lochearn, Baltimore County Police said.
Police said officers responded to Greenwood Place and Old Court Road for an assault in progress. When they arrived, the suspect allegedly tried to flee on foot and attempted to steal an occupied car before they were caught and arrested.
An officer sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene, police said.
