Rusty Scupper
402 Key Highway
Baltimore, Md. 21230
(410) 727-3678

Moore likes Rusty Scupper for many reasons. She has done several events here. The restaurant is located on Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and the view is very beautiful. You can rent the inside of the restaurant and the balcony. This allows you to have a lot of space for your wedding reception. The food is very delicious. The customer service is excellent. Guests have the option of parking in the garage at a discounted rate or using the Baltimore Water Taxi for a small fee.

Martin’s Valley Mansion
594 Cranbrook Road
Cockeysville, Md. 21030
(410) 666-1234

Moore recommends Martin’s Valley Mansion because it is a very beautiful and elegant venue — and because it’s where she got married! She says that wedding guests of all ages have complimented the excellent food. Plus, the staff is very attentive, helpful and focused on making your wedding day a great event. The venue has a very contemporary and upscale look without the upscale price, making it the perfect place to host a big wedding without breaking the bank.

Martin’s West
6817 Dogwood Road
Baltimore, Md. 21244
(410) 944-9433

Moore recommends Martin’s West for the couple who wants a traditional wedding. The design of the ballroom is elegant and classy, perfect for weddings large and small. The customer service and food are excellent. You and your guests will not leave hungry. If you have out of town guests, there is a Best Western right near Martin’s West and the hotel will provide a shuttle for wedding guests to take to and from Martin’s West. The location is also near Security Square Mall, a lot of great eateries and a movie theater.

Kay-Dee Club, Inc. Knights Of Columbus – Homeland Avenue
201 Homeland Avenue
Baltimore, Md. 21212
(410) 433-9756

Moore suggests Kay-Dee Club, Inc. for couples who want to save money while still putting on a memorable event. The location is perfect since it’s off of Interstate 83 in North Baltimore. The facility is very clean and well kept. There is plenty of free off-street parking for guests. The rooms are spacious and the facility has a full kitchen, although you can use your own caterer. Ten Oaks Ballroom & Conference Center
5000 Signal Bell Lane
Clarksville, Md. 21029
(410) 313-7300

Moore recommends Ten Oaks Ballroom & Conference Center because of location and service. Ten Oaks Ballroom & Conference Center is located in Howard County off of Interstate 95. This is very convenient for the couple who has guests who are coming from Washington, D.C. and farther south. There is a foyer that allows guests to be greeted before coming into the wedding. The facility is very elegant. This place has plenty of free parking. The catering is done exclusively by Putting on the Ritz Catering and Zeffert and Gold Catering and Event Planning. There was a grits bar that Moore found tasty and very interesting.
