This production, directed by Tazewell Thompson, takes place in the Congo. The matriarch operates a brothel and is in a battle to hold on to her business as a war is raging all around. Written by Lynn Nottage, this play will be performed from February 4 through March 8, 2015.

This show portrays what might have happened after Cassius Clay defended his title in 1964. He celebrates with friends Sam Cooke, Malcolm X and Jim Brown in a hotel room. The conversation is sure to pique the interests of those in attendance.
