Known as “Baltimore’s Brew Pub,” the Pratt Street Ale House was opened in 1888. The brewery, opened in 1993, brews authentic English ales. All ales from Oliver Breweries are brewed with malt and hops imported from the United Kingdom. Ales are brewed using the traditional single infusion mash technique and open fermentation. Ales and porters served include Sea of Spears, a red wheat Ale; 3 Lions Ale, a strong English brown ale; and Modern Life Is Rubbish, a porter.
