This is the 30th year for the Reisterstown Festival. It features vendors and a parade down Main Street, which kicks off at 9:00 am. Located in a suburb right outside of Baltimore, this area is historic as it dates back to the 1700s. This festival features a car show, a motorcycle show, fireworks and music. In addition, there is a family area, which will allow even the youngest member of the group to participate.

Now in its 40th year, the Sugarloaf Crafts Festival features not only the finest of handmade arts and crafts, but also interactive demonstrations. You are sure to learn more about the creation of the pieces you admire as the artisans explain their process. From pottery to wood spinning to metal spinning, your interest will be piqued. There is even something for the children. The website states, “the Festival will also introduce new and emerging artists showcasing the latest trends in handmade fashion and accessories, statement jewelry and fine art”.

This is the Maryland Home and Garden Show. A favorite in the Baltimore area, attendees can check in with contractors as well as purchase the crafts that are available through the vendors. Examples of crafts available include wood carving, painting, jewelry, pottery, floral design, glass, fabric, metal work, candles and furniture basketwork.
