Sometimes the most exciting football games are not in the NFL, but rather at the college level. Proud of their naval heritage, people across the state of Maryland tune in to see the boys of the United States Naval Academy defend their turf against schools across the nation. Autumn is jam-packed with Navy games, starting in October. On October 11, watch as Navy takes on another proud military school, the Virginia Keydets. Two weeks later, the boys rally to square off against the San Jose Spartans. Then watch on the first of November as Navy tackles the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame, then on November 15, the Georgia Southern Eagles. The NCAA is a league full of electric excitement, and the local team delivers the goods every season.
