The African American Festival has been a Baltimore tradition for more than 30 years, with the support of the mayor's office and production by greiBo Entertainment. The 32nd annual Artscape is America's largest free arts festival and more than 350,000 people attend the three-day event each year. The festival draws craftspeople, fashion designers and visual artists as well as a long list of performers, from opera singers to dancers. Fireworks aren't the only thing that makes the 4th of July fun. Nothing beats live music in the summer! The whole family can enjoy both at the Baltimore Inner Harbor 4th of July celebration. You'll find live entertainment courtesy of the Electric Brigade at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater. Afterwards, the Baltimore Inner Harbor will be illuminated by colorful fireworks during an 18-minute show.

Want to get into nature while enjoying some great music? The Friends of Patterson Park put on an annual series of free concerts. On June 9, The Bellevederes are kicking off the summer music lineup, which boasts a broad variety of musical styles. Don't miss The Bumper Jacksons, Cold Spring Jazz Quartet or any of the other great musicians due to perform. All will be great events for the whole family, especially if you take the time to enjoy the park before the show.
