This self-taught photographer, with a family history immersed in the arts, is not afraid to go the extra mile in his work. Robert McClintock embraced the digital age with an open mind, taking advantage of what all of these cameras have to offer. Along with thousands of images highlighting Baltimore scenes, people and animals, in addition to subjects elsewhere, he uses Adobe Photoshop to "paint" over photos, giving a whimsical quality to each picture he snaps. After a brief period in Federal Hill, his studio and gallery are now located in the heart of Fells Point.

Artists no longer need to die before they may reap the benefits of fame. Linda and Steven Krensky's gallery in Federal Hill promotes the original works of living artists, many of whom are local to the Baltimore area. Much of the photography displayed exhibits a wide spectrum of talent and taste. Some photographers aim to reflect a natural, organic feel in their work, while others take advantage of the well-known historical and architectural subjects of Baltimore and Washington, D.C. Special events are held throughout the year and are open to the public.

This gallery is just a short ride down I-97 and within walking distance of the beautiful Annapolis harbor. Works by numerous master photographers are displayed, including Charles E. Emery and Bo Zaunders, as well as Annapolis elitists Sally Wern Comport and Greg Harlin. These artists have gained recognition both internationally as well as locally. The Prints, Drawings & Photographs collection at the Baltimore Museum of Art contains more than 3,000 photographs alongside drawings dated to reveal hundreds of years of talent. Along with experimental European photography, the Gallagher/Dalsheimer collection includes American photographers, from the colorful William Eggleston to Edward Weston and Gordon Parks, who favored the use of black-and-white film. The works of modern-day photographers include Rineke Dijstra, Carrie Mae Weens and Jeff Wall.
