Best Sports Exhibits In Baltimore

Are you a big sports fan?  Here are some of the things you should make sure to see.  Conveniently, many are located at the Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards; if you time your trip correctly, you can see an O's game, too!

Babe Ruth Museum

There are six exhibits at the Babe Ruth Museum.  They deal with his life and his career; you can even see the room where Babe Ruth was born.  The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday. Tickets are $6.

The next four exhibits are all located at the Sports Legends Museum.  Tickets are $8.

Baseball

The baseball exhibits include the Orioles Hall of Fame, the Negro Leagues and Nine Innings of Orioles Baseball, which tells the history of the franchise.  The Negro Leagues exhibit has more about Baltimore's two teams, the Black Sox and Elite Giants.

College

College Sports

If you're a fan of college sports, this is the exhibit for you.  There's memorabilia and murals.  They cover college football, soccer, basketball and lacrosse.  There's even a tailgate party.

There are exhibits on the Colts, Ravens, and Johnny Unitas.  There are video highlights and memorabilia.  You'll also learn more about the Colts Marching Band, which did not follow the team to Indianapolis.

Soccer

This exhibit centers around the Baltimore Blast, Maryland's soccer team.  Highlights include jerseys and game equipment.  You'll also see the 2006 MISL championship trophy.
