Exercise has many benefits to the physical, emotional and social aspects of our beings. One of the most common forms of exercise, and one of the most economical, is running or walking. You can burn more calories, raise your heart rate, lower your blood pressure and relieve stress, in addition to toning and shaping your body. As the weather begins to change from winter to spring, there are many opportunities to walk or run as you explore your surroundings. Baltimore has several races occurring in the spring which will not only benefit one’s own self but also others.
