THE DEFENSE

Q: Great car. Have you had it long?

A: Just over a year, probably a year and five days.

Q: What is your car's main use?

A: Driving to work. It doesn't fly yet, so…

Q: How much time do you spend in it?

A: Approximately an hour a day.

Q: When you're driving back and forth to work, what's your favorite part of your commute?

A: This is kind of weird, because it's not exactly pretty, but I like looking at the very industrial part of Baltimore. I-95 goes right along the pier and there are these big, huge mounds of Lord only knows what with cranes and stuff like that. I find it very interesting.

Q: The salt?

A: It's black. There are black piles too.

Q: Oh, I don't know. Pepper?

A: Maybe.

Q: Can you tell us about a favorite day trip you've taken in this car?

A: I like driving through Butcher's Hill because a lot of the buildings are old and very ornate. The trees are big and people plant gardens there. It's really pretty, specifically on Lombard Street. It's more of a day trip kind of thing. I haven't done it very often, but one time, a group of us went down to a beach outside of Annapolis. It was only like 45 minutes to an hour away and we were at the beach. I didn't even know it was there!

Q: That sounds like a good tip. Is there anything else you'd like to share with us about your car?

A: I can take it to the shop and it doesn't cost me a fortune to get fixed or get parts. The dealerships in my experience have always been knowledgeable, speedy, and reliable.
