Navigating Ocean City Restaurant Week

May 2, 2012 6:00 AM

Ocean City’s Restaurant Week is back a month earlier this year, kicking off on Sunday, May 6 and continuing through Sunday, May 20. Many restaurants are partaking in the event. Check out the Ocean City Restaurant Week website for updated menus and offerings. More than 20 restaurants are participating, mostly featuring special dinner options. Layton’s of 92nd, for instance, is offering breakfast and lunch and Captain’s Galley is offering lunch and dinner. Some restaurants will provide more than one price point for the fixed-priced menus, ranging from $10 to $40. Taxes and gratuities are not included, so take care of your servers accordingly.

Below are some of the best eats to be enjoyed during Ocean City’s Restaurant Week. Make your reservations early to secure your spot.

The Restaurant Week menu is offering tempura-fried soft shell crab and a “drunken duck” dish: duck breast marinated for days in sake and soy sauce. The menu is subject to change, however. Along with the three-course $30 dinner, Jules is offering an early bird special during Restaurant Week. Show up early and be seated by 6 p.m. to enjoy a free glass of the house Cabernet or Chardonnay.
