TTYM: Watch Welker Get Mocked, Tebow Take On Big Foot And NYers Attack Joe Buck

by @TaraLipinsky

More Columns here.

In this week's That Thing You Missed a Knicks fan mocks Wes Welker, Tim Tebow goes commercial and watch while New Yorkers show Joe Buck how they really feel.

Bucking A Trend?

"Oh Great! Joe Buck is calling this game!” Said no one ever!

Let me make this clear. I have lived in several states and follow many teams across football and baseball. The one thing all fans have in common: shear loathing for announcer Joe Buck. It’s probably the one thing (besides Mets hatred) Yankees fans and Red Sox fans can agree on.

Despite this universal opinion, for some reason Buck is tapped by Fox to call every freakin' single major game and Super Bowl XLVIII is no exception.

So Buck agreed to star in a Funny or Die video focusing on his many detractors in what I can only imagine is a vain attempt to get people to like him.

Frankly, I don’t care what Joe Buck’s motives are for making this video. I just can’t get enough watching people sling swear words, insults, and even pizza at the polarizing commentator.

Tim Tebow's 'Hail Mary'

Say what you will about how Tim Tebow plays quarterback, you have to admit he does a stellar job covering college football.

And as evidenced by a new series of Super Bowl commercials – has a great sense of humor about getting screwed by the Jets getting completely shut out of the NFL this past season.

The Choke Is On Welker

Wes Welker can’t seem to “catch” a break.

Earlier this week Welker and some fellow Broncos teammates took in a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden. Just Welker’s luck he sits in front of a Giants’ fan who’s clearly never gotten over his failed attempt to become a stand-up comedian.

When Welker popped up on the Jumbotron -- and of course he did-- the guy started mocking him. First he made a choke signal, then pretended to drop a ball mimicking Welker’s fumble as a Patriot against New York in Super Bowl XLVI.

Well, something tells me Welker will get the last laugh. Even if the Broncos don’t win the Super Bowl on Sunday… Have you seen Welker’s wife?
