Man Charged With Threatening Restaurant Patrons
ELDERSBURG, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police have charged a man with assault after they say he threatened patrons at an Eldersburg restaurant.
James Welch, 25, of Eldersburg was also charged with use of a handgun in a violent crime and other offenses. He was released on $5,000 bond.
According to court documents, three men had been told to leave G.L. Shacks Grill after a fight early Saturday, but they returned.
When the men were told to leave again, one lifted his shirt, showing a handgun in his waistband and threatened to shoot everyone in the car. He then left in a car.
