Sykesville Couple Charged In String Of Burglaries

SYKESVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Howard County police have charged a Sykesville husband and wife in a string of burglaries in the western part of the county.

Police say Edward Johnson, 28,  and Robin Johnson, 27, have been charged in connection with four burglaries in West Friendship, Marriottsville and Cooksville between Feb. 24 and March 10.

Authorities say they found stolen property that led them to link the Johnsons to the burglaries. Police say they are trying to determine whether the couple is responsible for a number of other burglaries in the county in recent months.
