Search To Resume Sunday For Missing Swimmer In Md.

BROOKEVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Rescuers have suspended their search for a missing swimmer who is thought to have drowned in the Tridelphia Reservoir in Montgomery County.

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission says the search will resume Sunday morning for Bruce Yansen.

Sandy Spring Fire Chief George Brown says Yansen, 21, and two other swimmers were in the area of the reservoir Friday evening when the water level suddenly dropped off. Brown says Yansen panicked and another swimmer tried to save him but was unsuccessful.

Swimming is prohibited in the reservoir.
