GLENN DALE, Md. (AP) — Prince George’s County fire officials say a firefighter has been injured while battling a house fire in Glenn Dale.

Authorities say the firefighter fell through a hole in the floor of the home and was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries Monday.

Firefighters were called to the house fire in the 12600-block of Hillmeade Station Drive in Glenn Dale about 6 p.m. Authorities say the first floor of the home partially collapsed during the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Officials say the home was reported to be vacant.
