BLOG: Home Run Derby, Who Cares?
Does anybody watch this thing in its entirety? I almost feel like the Home Run Derby, Slam Dunk Contest, and the 3 Point Shootout have all run its course. It is tiresome listening to Berman yell back, back, back, back... Just shut up already. I feel like they try to tweak it every single year, but it never really seems to work for me.
Last night was the National League Vs the American League, although in the second round it was 3 A.L. Hitters vs Prince Fielder. I did like how it came down to the final homerun this year, but there is no way to ensure that to happen. I don't know how you feel but i cant wait til Thursday. I hate these 3 days. There are no professional sports on Monday and Wednesday, the only 2 days of the year that happens. Congrats to Robinson Cano for winning the Home Run Derby.
