84-Year-Old Woman Assaulted In Her Suitland Home
SUITLAND, Md. (AP) -- Police are searching for a suspect who attacked and robbed an 84-year-old woman inside her Suitland home.
Prince George's County police say the attack happened Wednesday, but the woman wasn't found until Thursday when a neighbor saw a door ajar. The woman was found lying on the floor with injuries.
The woman told police a man knocked on her door, pretending to be a neighbor. Then he forced his way inside and physically assaulted her.
The woman was treated for minor injuries.
Anyone with information is asked to call Prince George's County police.
