Neighbors Find 62-Year-Old Man Shot In The Head In Windsor Hills

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- A man is murdered in broad daylight on a quiet street in Windsor Hills.

Monique Griego has the latest on the investigation.

It was neighbors that discovered the man's body lying on the street moments after witnesses reported hearing gunfire.

It all happened just before 11 a.m. Thursday in 2900-block of Haverford Road. The victim hasn't been identified but police say he was shot in the head.

Sources tell our media partner, "The Baltimore Sun," he was 62 years old.

Neighbors don't believe he's from that area and they also didn't recognize a car found at the scene.

"This is the first homicide that I know of in this neighborhood. And I've been living here 40-some years. I can surely say that this was a bit of a shock," a resident of the neighborhood said.

Police haven't released a motive or any suspects in the case.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call police.
