WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) — A Maryland man convicted in the death of an 8-month-old girl wants a review of his case.

Donald Ray Pevia Jr., of Sykesville, is serving a 60-year prison sentence after being convicted of second-degree murder and other crimes in the death of his girlfriend’s daughter. The medical examiner’s office says the infant’s March 2009 death was caused by multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
