SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) — Lanes of the outer loop of the Capital Beltway in Silver Spring are reopening following a fatal overnight accident.
Three left lanes of the highway between Colesville Road and Georgia Avenue were reopened early Monday.

Scott Graham, a spokesman for the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, says one person was killed. The victim’s identity has not been released.
