Man Charged In Pregnant Woman's Death Has Record
DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) -- Court records show a man charged in the stabbing death of a pregnant woman had been sentenced to home detention following an assault conviction last year.
Prince George's County Police say investigators believe Nathan Cedric Rogers, 22, of District Heights is the father of the child. The body of Jasmine Nichelle Moss, 23, was found inside a vehicle on Friday. Police say the two had been in a relationship.
The Washington Post reports that online court records show Rogers was convicted of first-degree assault last year and ordered to serve home detention. Police say Rogers has been charged with first-degree murder for Moss' death.
