Ken Singleton On Jim Palmer: 'Best I've Ever Played With'
Ken Singleton, Orioles Hall of Famer and former teammate of Jim Palmer, joined The Norris & Davis Show. Singleton remembers getting a hit off Palmer one time in the Florida State League while Palmer was on a rehab assignment.
Mr. Singleton also spoke about all the great Orioles pitchers - the best of all was Palmer, 'Jim was the leader. He ran the pitching staff. He was fantastic...he was a workhorse and could perform better than anyone else in the league.'
The former Centerfielder will be in Charm City this Saturday when the Orioles honor Palmer with a bronze statue in Legends Garden.
