Police Say Notre Dame Of Md. University Knifepoint Assault 'Miscommunicated'

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- There's new information about an alleged sexual assault on the campus of Notre Dame University of Maryland.

After viewing the evidence, city police now say the incident was "miscommunicated."

A young woman had claimed a man assaulted her at knifepoint early Monday morning while she was walking to her dorm room from the library.

Police say there was and is no threat to the campus or neighboring communities.
