WASHINGTON (AP) — Arena Stage is inviting military families to a free Thanksgiving dinner and performance at the Washington theater.

Arena is hosting its second annual Thanksgiving performance on Friday night. The theater will present a free performance of its new production of “My Fair Lady.”

District of Columbia Del. Eleanor Holmes North will join the event, along with Navy Rear Adm. Jeffrey Lemmons of the Inter-American Defense College at Ft. McNair.

Arena is also collecting used cell phones Friday evening for the group Cell Phones for Soldiers. The goal is to provide free phones for active duty military members and veterans.

Arena has a grant from the Bob Woodruff Foundation to present the free program for soldiers.
