Carl Snowden Gets 10 Days For Probation Violation

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- The former civil rights director for Maryland Attorney General Douglas Gansler will spend 10 days in jail for violating his probation in a 2010 drunken driving case.

The Capital of Annapolis reports Carl Snowden was sentenced Monday in Anne Arundel Circuit Court after he pleaded guilty to the violation. The violation stemmed from his conviction in Baltimore in November of one count of marijuana possession.

Snowden's sentence will begin April 12.
