Harford Co. Deputies Search For Suspect Behind 2 Armed Robberies In Bel Air

BEL AIR, Md. (WJZ)— Harford County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man they believe is responsible for two armed robberies in the Bel Air area.

Police say on Thursday at around 4 a.m., a white male in his 20s, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants and black and white colored shoes robbed the Royal Farms Store at 1601 Churchville Road.

The cashier told police that suspect—whose face was covered with a black bandana—displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the register.

The cashier complied and the suspect then fled the store toward Route 543.

This case is also related to an armed robbery that occurred which is just a short distance away.

Police believe the suspect also committed armed robbery Wednesday night at the Subway sandwich shop in the Greenbrier Shopping Center.

There were no injuries reported and the investigation is continuing.
