Public To Hear About Frederick Bike Trail

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Frederick city officials are unveiling plans for a new bicycle and pedestrian trail.

The open house Tuesday night at City Hall involves the East Street Rails With Trails project.

It's meant to give pedestrians and bicyclists a way of reaching the downtown MARC station while avoiding street traffic.

Mayor Randy McClement says the trail would follow former rail lines in the city.
