Missing Md. Boy, 12, Found In Pa. After Taking Parents' Car For Joyride
HAMPSTEAD, Md. (WJZ) -- A missing 12-year-old Carroll County boy is found in Pennsylvania, after taking his parents' car for a joyride.
Michael Kenneth Swiney took off in his parents' Chevy Traverse early Thursday morning.
Authorities say the boy had an interest in adopting a dog in Mt. Airy.
They found Swiney at a Harrisburg restaurant around 9 p.m.
He is now being returned to his parents in Hampstead.
Charges are pending.
