Former UMBC LAX stand-out Brendan Mundorf joined 105-7 THE FAN’s Steve Kolbe to discuss the importance of Baltimore’s PNC MIAA Lacrosse Championship this weekend at Unitas Stadium. The 2012 Pro outdoor lacrosse player of the year noted how impressive the area’s high school talent is. ‘If you look at the National standings all of these teams that are in this tournament are going to be in the top 25 nationally,’ he said.

General admission tickets for the semifinal doubleheader on Tuesday (May 14) are $8. The Championship Tripleheader on Friday costs $10. The low ticket prices are perfect for families according to Mundorf, ‘You’re going to get some really good lacrosse. These teams are full of talented players a lot of which are going to play Division 1 a year from now.’

Mundorf, who sponsors high school tournaments across the country with Rockin’ Refuel Intense Recovery protein beverage, plays for the Denver Outlaws of Major League Lacrosse. Rockin’ Refuel by Shamrock Farms is available at all Subway restaurants.
