BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 48-year-old woman faces a slew of charges, including attempted first-degree murder.

Last Tuesday, police were called to the 900-block of Desoto Road for an assault.

Upon arrival, officers were met a Medic working on an unresponsive victim, 52-year-old Wayne Vendemia, prior to transporting him to Shock Trauma.

The victim suffered injuries to his head and at last check was listed in critical condition.

Witnesses identified Kimberly Johnson, also known as Kimberly Carter,  as the suspect.

Johnson was arrested last Thursday and is charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, attempted second-degree murder and second-degree assault.
