Child Among 3 Killed In 3-Car Collision In Wheaton
ASPEN HILL, Md. (AP/WJZ) -- Montgomery County police say three people, including a child, are dead after a three-vehicle crash in the Aspen Hill area of Wheaton, Md.
The crash occurred Sunday night at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Kayson Street. Officers say a Nissan Sentra was making a left turn from Kayson Street onto Georgia Avenue when it was hit by a Volkswagen Passat and a Chevrolet Camaro.
Police say all four occupants of the Sentra were ejected from the vehicle. Montgomery County Assistant Fire Chief Scott Graham says the child was still in a child safety seat
Officers identified the dead victims as 39-year-old Salvador Lemus Ramos, 50-year-old Felipe Pineda, and 4-year-old Elizabeth Lemus, all of Wheaton.
The accident is under investigation.
